- Identification, analysis, and mitigation of transportation issues and recommendations of preferred courses of action
- Pre-case planning support, including documentation review and development
- Evaluation of existing Foreign Military Sales programs for transportation improvements
- Analysis and development of classified or sensitive material transportation plans
- Continuous review of applicable program documentation (i.e. Procurement documents, Contract shipping and packaging instructions, Export licenses, Letters of Offer and Acceptance and Military Assistance Program Address Directory)
- Assistance with Explosive Hazard Classification Authorization clearances
- Hazardous material handling
- Coordination with contracted freight forwarders and U.S. Customs to identify, mitigate, and resolve import/export delays and resolve seized cargo issues
- Administration of required Notice of Availability (NOA) response and delivery of detailed shipping instructions
- Management of all requirements with USTRANSCOM, Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Program Managers, FMS Customers and Key aerial/ocean port personnel
- Monitoring and notification of transportation policy changes
